We are currently looking for a Cover Supervisor to join our team as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA).
Position: HLTA - Cover Supervisor
Location: Southey Green Community Primary School and Nurseries
Type: Part-time available Three days per week , Monday , Tuesday and Wednesday
Experience: HLTA Qualification is essential with previous experience of working in a Primary school environment.
Role Overview:
As an HLTA working as a Cover Supervisor, you will support teaching staff by supervising classes during short-term teacher absences. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining experience within education and gaining an insight to a various mix of classroom experiences.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Good communication skills with children and adults
- Ability to manage behaviour effectively in the classroom
- Organised and reliable with good time management
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills
- Willingness to learn new skills related to supporting teaching staff
- A genuine interest in working with children
