Job Description:
As a Catering Assistant at Southey Green Community Primary School and Nurseries, you will play an important role in helping prepare and serve meals to our pupils and staff. You will assist with food preparation, maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area, support health and safety standards, and contribute positively to creating an enjoyable mealtime experience.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum qualification of a relevant certificate (e.g., Food Hygiene Certificate) or willingness to obtain one
- Ability to follow instructions carefully
- Basic understanding of hygiene practices related to food handling
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to work as part of a team
- Reliable with good time management
