Hallam Medical has opportunities for General Practitioners to support an Out-of-Hours (OOH) service in Scarborough, delivering high-quality, patient‑centred care outside of core GP Practice hours. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary OOH team, providing urgent primary care to patients across a range of settings.
Responsibilities
- Assessing, diagnosing, and managing patients presenting with urgent primary care needs
- Providing remote (telephone/video) and face‑to‑face consultations as required
- Undertaking home visits when appropriate
- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical records
- Working collaboratively with clinical and operational OOH teams
- Ensuring safe clinical decision-making and adherence to local pathways
Qualifications
- GMC‑registered
- Evidence of recent GP experience
- Strong clinical judgement and decision‑making skills
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care
- Previous experience in an OOH or urgent care setting
- Working knowledge of Adastra / EMIS / SystmOne
