As a General Practitioner, you will be responsible for conducting thorough patient examinations and assessments to determine health status, as well as diagnosing and managing both acute and chronic conditions, ensuring that tailored treatment plans are effectively implemented. You will prescribe medications and monitor patient progress and responses to treatment, while also providing preventive care and delivering health education to promote wellness and prevent disease. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including making referrals to specialists where necessary, and will maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records in full compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
- Inclusion on the National Performers List.
- Completion of MRCGP or equivalent GP accreditation.
- Demonstrable primary care and/or urgent care experience.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
