The Role
As a Class 1 Tramper Driver, you will play a vital role in delivering and collecting palletised goods across the UK.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Safe, professional operation of company vehicles at all times
- Representing Hallam Express in a professional and courteous manner with customers and the public
- Complying with Health & Safety legislation and company policies
- Completing daily checks, delivery paperwork, and all associated administration accurately
- Following company procedures and maintaining communication with the transport office regarding progress or delays
About You
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- No more than 6 penalty points
- Good communication and customer service skills
- A positive, professional attitude and the ability to represent the company with pride
