Hall & Woodhouse (H&W) is a family‑owned Dorset brewer and hospitality business founded in 1777, operating over 150 high‑end pub restaurants and inns across the South of England. We blend traditional values with a progressive, inclusive culture—and we’re recruiting a Designate General Manager to support several of our houses in the Bath/Bristol area while you complete a structured development programme that prepares you to take full responsibility for your own site. The timing of the programme will depend on your rate of progress and a suitable House becoming available.

What you'll need to be:
- An experienced GM with great leadership capability within branded hospitality
- Based in the Bath/Bristol area or planning to re‑locate
- An expert in quality food and drink, with high attention to detail
- A strategic commercially minded operator with experience growing hospitality businesses
- Diligent with operational standards and processes
- Well‑presented, analytical and proactive in problem‑solving
- Able to commit to work within the GM development programme at various locations
- Determined to develop and maintain outstanding hospitality for our guests
- A natural host who loves making people's day
- Flexible and resilient with a solutions based mindset
- Mobile with access to independent transport, and prepared to stay away from home occasionally as required
