An exciting opportunity exists for a Mechanical Engineer to join our small engineering team, based at our state-of-the-art Brewery in Blandford.

Key Responsibilities of the Shift Mechanical Engineer:
- Role model Health & Safety
- Site maintenance activities, continuous improvement
- Completion of site calibration plans and engineering regulatory compliance activities to schedule
- Innovate problem solving and improvement activities to ensure business continuity
- Complete and maintain accurate records in relation to all Engineering SOP's
Key knowledge and attributes you must have:
- 5 years engineering experience in FMCG or similar environment
- Highly organized, self-directed with the ability to prioritize, project manage and schedule engineering works
- Qualified engineer with working knowledge of hydraulic, steam, compressed air, cooling systems, mechanical systems and water systems
- Working knowledge/experience of bench work: welding, fabrication etc.
- Ability to influence colleagues and suppliers for successful project outcomes
- Working knowledge of Engineering Regulatory compliance requirements i.e. PSSR, LOLA etc.
- IT skills – Ability to use MS applications is desirable
- Collaborative mindset - team player
- Proactive regarding safe and sustainable working
