The Barn - Reborn, acquired by Hall & Woodhouse in February 2022, is a landmark venue located on the glorious sands at Woolacombe. Following a major investment and restyling this winter, we are recruiting for a new Head Chef to lead the team in this high-energy kitchen.

We are looking for a highly organized and skilled Head Chef with experience in high-end standard fayre who enjoys the buzz in the spotlight of a busy prestige kitchen. You should be:

  • A serious chef that cares, motivated and determined to achieve excellence with your team
  • Dependable and resilient, able to keep calm and reasoned under pressure
  • Competent in all aspects of kitchen administration
  • Highly proficient in food safety and hygiene regulations including allergens
  • Able to work to precise specifications for cooking and presentation, without deviation
  • A kind and inspirational leader able to influence, motivate, and build great teams
  • Diligent about compliance
  • Able to reliably manage the commute, days, evenings, and weekends
