An exciting opportunity exists for a multiskilled Engineer to act as the engineering technical lead in the implementation of capital projects, improvement projects and engineering regulatory compliance for our state-of-the-art brewery in Blandford.

Key responsibilities:
- Role Model Health & Safety
- To coordinate the engineering aspects of capital and engineering improvement projects to ensure successful delivery of objective on time, in full, and on budget without impact on product quality or efficiency
- SME & direct reporting line for WPP & recycling centre
- Site maintenance activities & budgetary responsibilities
- Ensure completion of site calibration plans and engineering regulatory compliance activities to schedule
- Innovative problem solving and improvement activities to ensure business continuity
- Provide administrative support for Engineering Team
- To deputise for Site Engineering Manager as required
- Update Drawing & Supporting Documents - Writing / reviewing / permits & updating SOPs, RA, ECRs with Engineering Manager
Key knowledge and attributes you must have:
- 5 years engineering experience in FMCG or similar environment
- WAMITAB and NEBOSH qualification (Training will be provided)
- Highly organised, self-directed with the ability to prioritise, project manage and schedule engineering works
- Qualified engineer with working knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, steam, compressed air, cooling systems, mechanical systems and water systems
- Working knowledge/experience of bench work: welding, fabrication etc.
- Ability to influence colleagues and suppliers for successful project outcomes
- Working knowledge of Engineering Regulatory compliance requirements i.e. PSSR, LOLA etc.
- Comfortable chairing meetings and presenting technical information
- Strong IT skills – Ability to use MS applications, competent with CAD, ERP, data analysis and reporting
