Hall Smith Whittingham LLP are looking for a Commercial Property Solicitor to head their Commercial team. Happy to consider full-time and part-time candidates. The applicant must be experienced in running a caseload which includes but is not limited to:
- Commercial Sales, Purchases and Leases (High Street Shops to Commercial Industrial Units)
- Deeds of Easement
- Commercial mortgage terms/Personal Guarantees
- Agricultural Sales and Purchases
- Farm Business Tenancies
- Asset Sales/Purchase Agreements
- Build/Development Agreements
- Asset refinancing
- Planning Agreements
- Option Agreements/Conditional Contracts
The applicant needs to be a Commercial Property Solicitor with a minimum of 8 years’ PQE. Must run and maintain your own caseload. The head of the department will be responsible for reporting to the partners on department performance, people management needs, and also potential marketing opportunities. The head will also be the point of contact for people within the department, providing mentoring and support. The team is growing steadily and we are looking for the right person to move the department forward. We will be looking to introduce trainees to the team as and when appropriate.
The Role & Requirements: The firm are looking for a confident Solicitor to head their Commercial Department, taking on an existing caseload and matters independently. A significant amount of work is received through inter-firm referrals and existing clients. The ideal candidate will be ambitious, friendly, and proactive, and will actively look for ways to contribute without waiting to be asked. Secretarial and administration support will be provided. Salary competitive and available on request. Additional flexible benefits offered information provided at interview, including Hybrid Working.
