Summary Of Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team and oversee the installation, commissioning and integration of security systems for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in security technology, hands‑on experience with installation procedures, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients and project managers to design security systems tailored to their specific needs and requirements.
  • Develop detailed installation plans and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Execute the installation of security systems including CCTV cameras, access control systems, alarm systems, and other related technologies.
  • Install hardware, wiring, and peripherals according to project specifications and safety guidelines.
  • Integrate security systems with existing infrastructure, networks, and software platforms.
  • Configure system settings, protocols, and interfaces to ensure seamless operation and interoperability with other components.
  • Conduct thorough testing and commissioning of installed security systems to verify functionality, performance, and compliance with client expectations.
  • Troubleshoot any issues and make necessary adjustments to achieve optimal operation.
  • Create comprehensive documentation of installation procedures, configurations, and system integrations.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory, wiring diagrams, and test results for future reference and troubleshooting purposes.
  • Provide training to clients and end-users on how to operate and maintain security systems effectively.
  • Offer guidance on best practices for security management, system administration, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Offer technical support to clients during and after the installation process.
  • Address any questions, concerns, or issues promptly and professionally to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Ensure that all installations meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess the performance and reliability of installed systems and recommend improvements as needed.

What We Will Need From You

  • Proven experience in installing, integrating security systems, and commissioning including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
  • Strong technical skills in electrical wiring, network configuration, and system integration.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to security technology.
  • Excellent problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients, colleagues, and vendors.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Security System Installer, Certified Low Voltage Technician) are a plus.
