To analyse financial and operational data to provide actionable insights that drive business performance, optimise service delivery, and support strategic decision‑making across the organisation. Bridge the gap between finance, operations, and business units to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.

What you will be doing:

  • Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance reports comparing actual results against budgets and forecasts.
  • Identify variances, trends, and drivers of financial performance across service lines, business units, and geographic regions.
  • Monitor key financial metrics.
  • Analyse operational metrics such as service delivery efficiency, utilisation rates, productivity, quality indicators, and customer satisfaction scores.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Conduct cost‑benefit analyses for operational initiatives and improvement projects.
  • Track and report on operational KPIs, creating dashboards and scorecards for stakeholder visibility.
  • Collaborate with operations, service delivery, sales, and leadership teams to understand business challenges and opportunities.
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for non‑financial stakeholders.
  • Support business case development for new services, contracts, investments, and strategic initiatives.
  • Provide analytical support during contract negotiations, pricing reviews, and client profitability assessments.
  • Maintain and enhance financial and operational reporting systems, dashboards, and data visualisation tools.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across multiple sources and systems.
  • Automate routine reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Develop ad‑hoc analyses in response to management requests and emerging business questions.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance analytical processes, reporting frameworks, and decision‑making tools.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to financial and operational performance measurement.

What we will need from you:

  • Professional qualifications in Accounting, Business, Economics, or related quantitative field (or progress toward them) preferred but not essential.
  • 3‑5 years in financial analysis, management accounting, business analysis, or commercial finance role, ideally within a service organisation.
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering impactful insights that influenced business decisions.
  • Experience working with large datasets and reporting systems (essential).
  • Advanced Excel proficiency including pivot tables, complex formulas, and data modelling (essential).
  • Experience with business intelligence and visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) (essential).
  • SQL or database query skills (desirable).
  • Understanding of financial statements, management accounting principles, and cost analysis (essential).
  • Statistical analysis and forecasting techniques (essential).
  • Experience working with Corrigo (desirable).
  • Strong problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to synthesise complex data from multiple sources into coherent insights.
  • Commercial acumen to understand business drivers and operational realities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Skilled at creating compelling presentations and visualisations for diverse audiences.
  • Understanding of service business models, cost structures, and value drivers.
  • Awareness of operational processes and service delivery metrics.
  • Client and commercial mindset.
  • Collaborative team player who builds strong cross‑functional relationships.
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with competing priorities.
  • High integrity in handling confidential financial and operational information.

This role will be Finance focused but will require close collaboration with Service Director, Service Managers, Commercial Managers, and other functional departments.

What You Can Expect In Return:
