Hall Brown Family Law are a leading multi-site, multi-award-winning boutique family law firm specialising in high-net-worth family law, with an enviable reputation in the marketplace. As a result of their growth nationally, they are currently looking to recruit a paralegal to join them on a permanent basis at their Manchester City Centre offices. Established in 2016, Hall Brown offers legal advice on a full range of family law services providing clients with the highest level of legal expertise, service and the best possible outcome.

The role would involve assisting a range of fee earners in Manchester and across the firm who are experts in their field, making it an excellent learning opportunity for someone interested in progressing their career in one of the most dynamic law firms in the country.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Strong academic background with Law Degree. Some paralegal or equivalent experience and an understanding of family law is desirable but not essential.
  • Efficient, confident and a first-rate communicator who is able to clearly and concisely advise clients, as well as effectively communicating with your principal/colleagues to share ideas and progress cases.
  • An understanding of the importance of excellent client care, with a desire and the clear ability to manage and meet/exceed client expectations.
  • To undertake responsibility for your own fee-earning work (both litigated and non-litigated) to provide a profitable contribution to the firm within company procedures and guidelines.
  • Professional and friendly on all levels and at all times, with strong relationship building skills.
  • Excellent communication and profile raising skills with respect to business development/networking.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, ensuring full use of all services and resources provided.
  • Self-motivated, with a flexible attitude to work and time, together with strong ability to prioritise caseload and deadlines.
  • Ability to ensure the confidentiality of the firm’s and client’s documentation and information.
  • Contribute positively to departmental/firm-wide activities.
  • To comply with the Solicitors Regulation Authority Code of Conduct at all times.
  • To carry out any other duties as and when required whenever reasonably instructed.
  • Develop technical ability and skills as a solicitor by meeting CPD requirements and training.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft packages, including Word, Outlook and Excel.
MISCELLANEOUS

This role enables you to be based primarily at Hall Brown’s King Street, Manchester City Centre office, with the ability to travel and work out of our other office as and when required.
