As a result of their growth nationally, they are currently looking to recruit a paralegal to join them on a permanent basis at their Manchester City Centre offices.
Established in 2016, Hall Brown offers legal advice on a full range of family law services providing clients with the highest level of legal expertise, service and the best possible outcome. The role would involve assisting a range of fee earners in Manchester and across the firm who are experts in their field, making it an excellent learning opportunity for someone interested in progressing their career in one of the most dynamic law firms in the country.
- Strong academic background with a Law Degree.
- Some paralegal or equivalent experience and an understanding of family law is desirable but not essential.
- Efficient, confident and a first-rate communicator who is able to clearly and concisely advise clients, as well as effectively communicating with your principal/colleagues to share ideas and progress cases.
- Assist in maintaining financial control of your own caseload/cash flow through time recording, collection of monies on account and billing procedures.
- Professional and friendly on all levels and at all times, with the ability to meet high expectations and build strong productive relationships.
- Excellent communication and profile raising skills with respect to business development/networking externally and internally.
- Self-motivated, with a flexible attitude to work and time, together with a strong ability to prioritise caseload and deadlines.
- Develop technical ability and skills as a solicitor by meeting CPD requirements and training.
- Knowledge of Microsoft packages, including Word, Outlook and Excel.
This role enables you to be based primarily at Hall Brown’s King Street, Manchester City Centre office, with the ability to travel and work out of other offices as required. Due to the current growth and anticipated future expansion, the right candidate can work in this exciting organisation with a view to developing their career and salary progression.
