Halian is currently supporting a multi-national and award-winning organisation that is looking for a talented and experienced Java Developer to join their dynamic team on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity to create exceptional customer experiences and work on cutting-edge technology!
As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance core applications. You will oversee multiple teams and play a pivotal role in shaping development strategy, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.
Location: South East/Remote
Salary: up to £95,000 + competitive benefits, depending on experience.
Requirements:
- Experience building and shipping large-scale applications
- Knowledge of Java AND/OR Kotlin
- A solid understanding of AWS OR GCP
- Experience with TDD and pain programming
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Experience leading engineering decisions in complex environments and influencing stakeholders
- Strong understanding of software architecture and architectural patterns, including microservices and event-driven architectures
- CI/CD in complex environments
- Proven track record of creating highly performant, scalable applications
- Must have leadership experience
