My client is a leading fintech company revolutionising the way people manage their financial needs through innovative technology. They work with cutting-edge financial solutions to streamline processes, improve customer experiences, and drive financial inclusion globally. They\’re looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented Internal Project Manager to join their Project Management team. You’ll play a pivotal role in managing internal projects, gathering requirements, and ensuring documentation standards are met to support the successful delivery of fintech solutions. Project Management & Coordination: Oversee and manage internal projects from initiation to completion, ensuring all milestones are met on time and within scope. Work closely with cross-functional teams (engineering, compliance, finance, etc.) to ensure seamless communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle. Create, maintain, and track detailed project plans, schedules, and progress reports. Identify project risks and proactively implement risk mitigation strategies. Act as the primary point of contact for all internal stakeholders regarding project updates, timelines, and documentation. Facilitate and manage requirement gathering sessions with business and technical stakeholders to define project scope and objectives. Document business, functional, and technical requirements clearly and concisely, ensuring alignment with business goals. Document Management: Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project charters, scope documents, status reports, and post-project evaluations. Ensure all project documentation is clear, organized, and stored in accordance with internal processes and regulatory standards. Prepare and distribute meeting minutes, action items, and project updates to key stakeholders. Review and maintain project management templates to ensure consistency across internal projects. Internal Communication & Stakeholder Management: Foster positive relationships with internal teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. Provide clear, timely updates to stakeholders on project status, potential risks, and dependencies. Conduct regular project reviews with stakeholders to ensure alignment on expectations and project progress. Experience: 3-5 years of experience as a project manager, ideally in fintech, financial services, or a technology-focused environment. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). Technical Skills: Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello, or MS Project). Confluence, SharePoint, Google Docs). Project Management: Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid). Experience in fintech, payments, or blockchain technology. Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the fintech space (e.g., GDPR, PSD2, KYC/AML). Certification in Project Management (PMP, Prince2, or Agile certifications). Strong understanding of software development and technical project management. This role is hybrid with 3 days a week in my clients central London office and offers a 2 stage interview process.
