Head of Payments in Wallingford

Our client, a leading SaaS business based in Oxfordshire, is looking for a Head of Payments to define product strategy, lead a specialist team and drive the growth of a key product area.
This is a senior product leadership role combining strategy, commercial ownership and technical collaboration, with the opportunity to shape the future direction of the payments function.
Key Responsibilities
Define and own the long-term product strategy, aligned with wider business objectives.
Partner with senior product leadership to identify opportunities for growth, innovation and market expansion.
Own the commercial performance of the product portfolio, with a clear focus on growth and revenue.
Develop compelling business cases that demonstrate customer value, commercial return and strategic alignment.
Track progress against strategic objectives, removing barriers and enabling successful delivery.
Ensure success is measured through customer adoption, commercial outcomes and realised business value, rather than simply software delivery.
What Were Looking For
Proven experience leading payments, fintech or transactional technology products.
Strong commercial acumen, with experience driving revenue growth and developing investment cases.
A proven track record of defining product strategy and delivering commercially successful products.
Experience leading, mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
