As the organisation continues to invest heavily in its cloud and platform capabilities, they are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to play a key role in evolving and modernising their infrastructure estate.
This is an opportunity to join a collaborative engineering environment where you'll work closely with Software Engineering, Security and Operations teams to build resilient, scalable platforms and enable high-performing development teams.
What You'll Be Doing Designing, building and maintaining cloud-native platform solutions
Supporting and improving CI/CD pipelines and software delivery processes
Driving infrastructure automation and Infrastructure as Code best practices
Building self-service capabilities for engineering teams
Enhancing platform observability, monitoring and reliability
Supporting Kubernetes-based workloads in production
Contributing to highly available, resilient systems with minimal downtime
Collaborating with engineering teams to improve deployment and operational practices
Helping shape platform strategy and engineering standards
What We're Looking For Strong experience within Platform Engineering, DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
Experience building and supporting cloud-hosted environments (AWS preferred)
Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and containerisation technologies
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible or similar
Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of monitoring and observability tooling such as Grafana, Prometheus, ELK or equivalent
Strong Linux administration and networking fundamentals
Experience working in modern software engineering environments
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
