Our client, a UK enterprise software company providing AI-driven automation that helps organisations improve customer service and streamline digital processes, is looking for a Senior QA Tester to join the team. You will be responsible for delivering high quality applications which will involve planning, strategising, and reporting on testing activities throughout the application life cycle, using allocated resources and tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high quality testing and Quality Assurance for bespoke client developments.
- Support Product Owners by comprehending client requirements and delivering Acceptance Criteria for testing.
- Create Test Plans and Test Reports to established QA practices and standards.
- Build regression scripts/packs.
- Contribute to continuous improvements of best practices and testing standards.
- Support QA Team Lead in developing high quality QA Standards.
Requirements
- Prior manual and automated test / QA experience.
- ISEB / ISTQB Certification (required).
- Ability to understand business processes and test solution data structures and process flows.
- Experience with testing APIs particularly REST APIs.
- Experience with testing solutions that include relational databases for data store.
- Customer First - Driven to achieve excellent results for our customers.
This is a full-time, permanent position, working 1 day a week (or 1 day a month, whatever works) from their offices in Bedford. Our client offers a competitive salary, excellent benefits, and strong opportunities for career development.
