We are a highly respected professional services organisation currently undergoing significant technology transformation across our infrastructure and cloud environments. With continued investment in modernisation, automation, and security, we are looking to expand our infrastructure team with the addition of a Network Infrastructure Engineer.

We are looking to hire a hands-on Network Infrastructure Engineer with strong enterprise networking and cloud networking experience to support and enhance resilient, secure, and scalable network solutions across our multi-site environment.

The Networks Infrastructure Engineer MUST have:

  • Experience with Cisco Meraki and/or similar enterprise networking platforms
  • Knowledge of cloud networking technologies, particularly within Azure / AWS
  • Experience with Palo Alto firewalls

The Network Infrastructure Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

  • Strong experience working within enterprise networking environments
  • A degree qualification (BSc, MSc etc.) in Computer Science, Network Engineering, IT Infrastructure or similar would be beneficial
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, subnetting, routing, and switching
  • Experience managing firewalls, VPNs, WAN technologies, VLANs, and Layer 2/3 networking
  • Experience troubleshooting network issues within complex enterprise environments
  • Understanding of network security best practices
  • Familiarity with Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, or network automation/scripting would be beneficial
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative technical team
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)

The Network Infrastructure Engineer role will involve:

  • Supporting and improving enterprise LAN, WAN, wireless, and firewall infrastructure
  • Managing cloud networking environments across Azure and other cloud platforms
  • Configuring and maintaining firewalls, VPNs, routing, and switching technologies
  • Supporting multi-site network connectivity and migration projects
  • Driving automation and infrastructure standardisation initiatives
  • Monitoring network performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing preventative solutions
  • Collaborating with security and infrastructure teams to maintain robust security controls
  • Participating in infrastructure projects and providing technical expertise to stakeholders
