Location: Remote or Hybrid
Client: Leading Online Travel Agency
We are looking for a Travel Payments Subject Matter Expert to join a strategic 12-month engagement. This role is all about optimizing airline payment infrastructure, driving revenue growth, and enhancing the end-to-end payment experience.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the commercial strategy for airline-related payments and settlement mechanisms
- Identify and remove friction in payment flows across acquisition and refund processes
- Develop business cases and strategic roadmaps to improve customer experience and monetization
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Risk, Finance, Legal, and external PSPs
- Provide expert insight on regulatory and compliance standards (PSD2/SCA, PCI DSS, IATA)
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years in payments, with 4+ years in the airline or travel vertical
- Deep knowledge of GDS, NDC, BSP/ARC, Virtual Credit Cards (VCCs), and airline settlement/payment flows
- Strong analytical mindset and commercial acumen
- Ability to manage complex stakeholder environments and drive alignment across functions
