to join our team on a contract basis and play a pivotal role in delivering a high-profile Sitecore solution.
Role Overview
As the
Senior
/
Lead Sitecore Engineer
, you\’ll take technical ownership of a client-facing Sitecore implementation. You will be responsible for guiding the architecture, development, and delivery of the solution, while mentoring other developers and working closely with project managers, designers, and stakeholders.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone with strong Sitecore experience and excellent communication skills, who can work autonomously in a remote-first environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical delivery of a Sitecore 10+ implementation
- Define and communicate technical architecture and development best practices
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable Sitecore and .NET code
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX, design, QA, and PMs
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to developers
- Ensure the performance, security, and scalability of the platform
- Identify and mitigate technical risks early in the project lifecycle
- Contribute to estimates, planning, and progress reporting
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a
Lead Sitecore Engineer – Strong Senior experience considered also - Strong expereince with
Sitecore 10+
, including SXA and - Solid experience with
ASP.NET MVC / .NET Core - Proficient in
C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
a bonus) - Experience integrating Sitecore with third-party APIs and services
- Familiar with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (Git)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience in an agency or fast-paced consultancy environment
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Nice to Have
- Sitecore certification (XP/XM)
- Experience with Sitecore Personalization or Experience Analytics
- Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Agile/Scrum delivery experience
