SALARY- £45,000 to £70,000 per annum

We are a data-driven organisation leveraging advanced analytics and machine learning to drive business insights and innovation. As part of our continued growth, we are looking to expand our analytics capability with the addition of a Data Scientist.

We are looking to hire a Data Scientist to develop predictive models, generate insights, and support data-driven decision-making from our Glasgow office on a hybrid basis.

The Data Scientist will ideally have the following attributes:

  • Strong experience in data science, machine learning, or statistical analysis
  • A degree qualification (BSc, MSc, PhD etc.) in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or similar
  • Strong programming skills in Python or R
  • Experience with machine learning libraries such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
  • Experience working with large and complex datasets
  • Strong knowledge of statistics and data analysis techniques
  • Experience with SQL and working with databases
  • Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar
  • Ability to communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • A curious mindset with a passion for data and problem solving

The Data Scientist role will involve:

  • Developing and deploying machine learning and statistical models
  • Analysing large datasets to generate actionable insights
  • Working with stakeholders to understand business problems and translate them into data solutions
  • Preparing and cleaning data for analysis and modelling
  • Visualising and presenting findings to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Collaborating with data engineers and analysts on data-driven projects
