We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Developer to join our technology team, building and enhancing Salesforce solutions within a fast-paced financial services / payments environment. You will play a key role in delivering scalable, secure, and high-performance Salesforce implementations that support mission-critical business processes.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is comfortable working closely with stakeholders, understands regulated environments, and enjoys solving complex technical problems.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and custom applications.
- Build robust custom functionality using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs.
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems such as payment platforms, banking systems, and third-party services.
- Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and data governance standards expected in financial services.
- Optimise system performance, data models, and automation (Flows, Triggers, Batch jobs).
- Support deployments, releases, and CI/CD pipelines using Salesforce DX and modern DevOps practices.
- Provide technical guidance and code reviews, promoting best practices across the team.
- Contribute to solution architecture and technical decision-making.
- Strong, hands-on experience as a Salesforce Developer in production environments.
- Advanced knowledge of Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, and Salesforce configuration.
- Proven experience integrating Salesforce with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs.
- Experience working in financial services, payments, banking, fintech, or other regulated industries.
- Solid understanding of data security, permissions, and compliance considerations.
- Familiarity with Salesforce DX, Git-based version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously.
- Comfortable working on-site in Central London 3 days per week.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g. Platform Developer I/II, Integration Architecture Designer).
- Experience with payment processing, transaction data, or financial workflows.
- Exposure to event-driven architectures or middleware platforms (e.g. Mulesoft).
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum teams.
- Knowledge of reporting, analytics, and large-scale data volumes.
