We’re looking for a Security Engineer to join a high-performing Infrastructure team, working at the cutting edge of cloud security, automation, and AI-driven operations. This is a hands‑on role (approximately 75% technical / 25% governance) where you’ll play a key part in shaping and securing a modern, cloud‑first environment. You’ll collaborate across engineering, platform, and InfoSec teams to build secure, scalable solutions while continuously improving how security is delivered. If you enjoy solving complex problems, automating wherever possible, and staying ahead of emerging threats, this is a great opportunity to make a real impact.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Secure infrastructure across multi‑site and cloud environments (Azure‑focused)
- Design and implement security controls aligned to business risk
- Work closely with a SOC to enhance threat detection and response
- Automate security processes and improve operational efficiency
- Investigate security incidents and drive root cause analysis and remediation
- Implement and manage tools such as Microsoft Defender, Nessus, and SIEM/SOAR platforms
- Develop secure cloud templates and baseline configurations
- Partner with engineering teams to embed secure coding and DevSecOps practices
- Stay up to date with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security trends
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ Years of strong experience in infrastructure security across cloud and on‑prem environments
- Deep understanding of Azure security, DevOps, and automation
- Hands‑on experience with EDR/DLP tools (e.g. Microsoft Defender)
- Experience with SIEM/SOAR platforms
- Knowledge of frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Excellent communication skills across technical and non‑technical stakeholders
This role offers hybrid working with 2 days in central London and 3 days remote.
