Our client have embarked on a significant digital transformation journey, modernising both technology landscape and ways of working. As part of this transformation, the role supports the Head of Digital Transformation (IM&T) in delivering strategic Microsoft 365 initiatives that enable secure, modern, and effective collaboration across the KSA organisation.
The role adopts a consultative, customerāfocused approach, working closely with business and technology stakeholders to continuously identify opportunities to improve service quality, user experience, and operational efficiency. The role is responsible for shaping and assuring Microsoft 365 (aka Workplace) solution designs, supporting multiāyear transformation programmes, and ensuring successful delivery through effective coordination with global product teams, local Agile delivery managers, and KSA project teams. Acting as a key technical lead, the role translates business requirements into scalable, supportable Microsoft 365 solutions while operating within a highly regulated defence environment.
Responsibilities- Act as the Microsoft 365 technical lead for KSA initiatives, ensuring alignment with global architecture standards and security policies.
- Work collaboratively with global Microsoft 365 platform teams to enable, adapt, and deploy services in line with KSA regulatory and operational requirements.
- Maintain a strong working understanding of the Microsoft security portfolio, including capabilities such as Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Defender, identity protection, information protection, and compliance services, and how these are applied within enterprise and regulated environments.
- Support delivery of Microsoft 365 programmes and projects in partnership with Agile Delivery Managers in KSA.
- Own and assure solution designs covering identity, collaboration, security, device management, and service integration.
- Work closely with the Service Architect and Service Management teams to ensure Service Design and Service Transition artefacts are appropriately defined, documented, and approved to enable smooth operationalisation and ongoing support of Microsoft 365 services.
- Support the Change Management team in the preparation of change collateral, endāuser training materials, and Knowledge Articles to drive service adoption, improve user experience, and support effective organisational change.
- Provide architectural guidance throughout the delivery lifecycle, including design assurance, technical decisionāmaking, and service transition.
- Identify and manage technical risks, dependencies, and constraints associated with hybrid, cloud, and securityācontrolled environments.
- Inādepth knowledge of Microsoft 365 architecture, including Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, and related security capabilities.
- Solid understanding of core Azure services as they relate to identity, networking, monitoring, and hybrid integration.
- Familiarity with defenceāsector security constraints, data protection requirements, and compliance controls.
- Experience working across regional and global teams, including managing dependencies across different time zones and operating models.
- Ability to operate within structured governance, design authority, and change control processes.
