Own the rebuild of a modern data platform from the ground up. We’re working with a business in the middle of a high-impact data transformation—moving away from legacy constraints towards a scalable, cloud-first architecture.
We are seeking a Lead Data Modeller to define and manage the organisation’s data structure and ensure consistency across reporting, analytics, and AI use cases. This role is critical in establishing a single source of truth for key business metrics, working closely with data, technology, and business teams to ensure data is accurate, well-defined, and easy to use.
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-wide data models (dimensional/star schemas)
- Collaborate with analysts and BI teams to improve reporting accuracy and performance
- Lead data governance, including data cataloguing and documentation
- Map and analyse existing data flows to identify inconsistencies
- Mentor and support data analysts and analytics engineers
- Work closely with data engineers and data scientists to support advanced analytics and AI initiatives
Proven experience in data modelling or data architecture (typically 5+ years)
Experience with modern data platforms and governance tools
Advanced Power BI and Excel skills
Experience building or managing semantic layers
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Experience mentoring or leading data professionals
Exposure to AI or data science use cases
Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms
