About the role
Assistant Range Planners are accountable for supporting Range Planners and categories in building ranges for stores in line with agreed timelines. This role is crucial for ensuring that the right products are available at the right time, helping to maximise sales and meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Builds planograms in Spaceman using core principles agreed with the range planner e.g. SKU list, stock policy and merchandising criteria
- Works with POS team to ensure the right POS is included on all planograms
- Builds planograms in the test bed for review with key stakeholders
- Ensures data integrity of the planograms within Spaceman
- Works with macro space team to agree plan for upload of planograms to meet go live dates
- Responds to calls from stores where there are planogram queries and solves or escalates as appropriate
Key Skills/Experience
- Good level of commercial awareness
- Diligent and good attention to detail
- A passion for visual merchandising
- Ability to use Spaceman or other space planning tools (training provided)
