We’re looking for a Performance Analyst to join our Betfair International team in London or Dublin. In this role you’ll work closely with commercial and finance stakeholders to deliver insights that drive business decisions across our international operations.
What you’ll do
- Report to the Performance Analytics Manager and deliver insights through a weekly and monthly performance review cycle.
- Build, maintain and enhance our reporting suite in Looker and SQL.
- Monitor performance trends, identify challenges and opportunities, and partner with business owners to address issues.
- Conduct deep‑dive analysis of performance drivers to inform decision‑making and strategic planning.
- Support commercial teams with timely performance insights and investigation of concerns as they arise.
- Produce event‑specific reporting for key moments such as the World Cup and the start of the football season.
- Collaborate with Finance on budgeting, forecasting and phasing to ensure realistic and well‑informed targets.
- Partner with data teams to improve data quality and functionality to support richer reporting.
What you’ll bring
- A degree or equivalent experience in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, etc.).
- Strong analytical skills and curiosity for turning numbers into meaningful insights.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and analysing data.
- Experience with BI and visualisation tools such as Looker (preferred) or Tableau/PowerBI.
- Knowledge of financial reporting and/or gaming KPIs is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present insights to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- A willingness to learn, understand the business and contribute to commercial success.
