Overview of the role: We’re looking for a Senior Motion Designer to join our in‑house creative team and help shape how our brand moves, feels, and connects with audiences. You’ll play a key role in defining our visual language through motion — crafting impactful, on‑brand animations that bring our stories, products, and campaigns to life across digital, social, and experiential platforms. This is a role for a creative thinker who combines design sensitivity with technical mastery, thrives in a collaborative environment, and can elevate every piece of motion work produced under our brand. Our brand is constantly evolving — motion is how we express that evolution. We need a Senior Motion Designer who can turn strategy into emotion, design into movement, and stories into experiences that people remember.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead the design and production of motion graphics, animations, and visual storytelling across marketing campaigns, product launches, and brand communications.
  • Develop motion systems and design principles that bring consistency and innovation to how our brand moves.
  • Collaborate closely with brand, marketing, product, and content teams to translate strategic goals into engaging motion design.
  • Create storyboards, style frames, and prototypes to communicate ideas clearly and excite stakeholders.
  • Push creative boundaries while maintaining brand coherence and visual excellence.
  • Oversee and mentor motion designers, providing feedback and guidance to ensure the highest standards of design and animation.
  • Stay ahead of emerging tools, technologies, and motion trends to keep our creative output fresh and forward‑thinking.
  • Manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Bring our brand to life across every touchpoint — from campaigns to social, product launches to internal storytelling.
  • Shape a cohesive motion language that defines how our brand feels in motion.
  • Inspire and mentor others, raising the standard of motion design across the team.
  • Ensure every animation, transition, and piece of motion content doesn’t just look good — it feels like us.

What you’ll bring:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in motion design or animation, ideally within a brand, studio, or creative agency.
  • A standout portfolio showcasing storytelling, brand‑driven design, and polished motion work.
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Strong understanding of timing, composition, typography, and design systems in motion.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills — comfortable presenting ideas and influencing creative direction.
  • Proven ability to balance strategic brand thinking with creative experimentation.
  • Experience in UI motion, AR/VR content, or interactive design desirable but not essential.
  • Familiarity with content marketing and performance‑led creative desirable but not essential.
  • Background in film, visual effects, or art direction desirable but not essential.

Benefits:

  • Discretionary annual performance bonus.
  • 30 days paid leave.
  • Private healthcare.
  • Personal life assurance and income protection.
  • The option to join our company pension scheme.
  • External learning support of up to £2,000 or equivalent in local currency, dedicated 4 learning “Power Hours” every month during office time, full access to the Udemy and Mindtools platforms, in‑house leadership program and many other training opportunities for developing your skills and progressing your career.
  • 26 weeks primary carer leave at 100% pay & 4 weeks secondary carer leave pay at 100% pay.
  • Access to an on‑site gym.
  • Social events; including our sensational summer and Christmas parties.
  • Online Discount Scheme, including discounted shopping and cinema vouchers.
