- Own and maintain project plans, milestones, actions, RAID logs, and governance documentation.
- Chair regular project and stakeholder meetings, providing clear updates on progress, risks, dependencies, and decisions.
- Proactively manage risks, issues, and interdependencies, escalating where required to protect delivery.
- Track project costs, budgets, and benefits realisation in partnership with Finance and project sponsors.
- Ensure project activity aligns to agreed transformation frameworks, standards, and best practice.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams across Operations, Technology, Finance, Property, and People.
- Provide clear, concise reporting through dashboards and updates for senior leaders and steering groups.
- Support change adoption by maintaining visibility of key people, communication, and readiness milestones.
- Drive projects through to closure, completing lessons learned and formal close‑down documentation.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, supporting and advising peers across the Transformation team.
About you
- Proven experience delivering complex projects within a transformation or change environment with tangible results.
- Strong track record of managing stakeholders at all levels, including senior leaders, and bringing people with you through change.
- Demonstrated ability to manage risks, issues, dependencies, budgets, and delivery plans with confidence.
- Comfortable working across multiple workstreams in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments.
- Experience operating across both Waterfall and Agile delivery approaches, or the ability to adapt quickly between them would be desirable.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise competing demands.
- Confident communicator, able to present clear, concise updates and challenge constructively when required.
- Self‑starter with a proactive mindset, resilience, and a focus on delivery outcomes.
- Experience within retail, multi‑site, or operationally complex organisations is advantageous.
