About the role

We’re excited to announce the launch of our new Health and Safety portal and are seeking a detail-oriented Health & Safety Data Administrator on a 5-month fixed term contract. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately inputting event and monitoring data from Excel and Word documents into our new database system, following a detailed project plan to ensure all data is entered within project priorities.

This role requires a start date no later than Monday 8 th September 2025.

Key responsibilities

  • To enter data from Excel, Word and PowerPoint documents into a database portal system within specified timeframes.
  • Review data to ensure accuracy of data input and prioritise project tasks in order of importance as set out by the Health and Safety Systems Specialist.
  • Ensure confidentiality of information always keeping confidential data private and secure.
  • To learn the Portal system and stay updated on developments and changes.
  • To keep the Health and Safety Systems Specialist regularly updated on the progress of data input and raise any concerns which may lead to delays.
  • Update spreadsheets and progress reports for regular review by Senior leaders.
  • Assist the Senior Health & Safety Business Partner (Process & Policy) with the coordination of group wide initiatives to aid continuous improvement in all matters related to health & safety.
  • Support and participate in department, corporate, individual, and sponsored projects.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Highly adaptable, able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in navigating Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Effectively prioritises tasks to meet deadlines and project timeframes.
  • Listens actively and treats all individuals with respect and professionalism.
  • Experience working with confidential data.
