About The Role
- A senior operational leadership role responsible for leading and growing the CFS division across a defined depot network in the South of England.
- Accountable for delivering safe, efficient, and commercially successful mobile service solutions to a large portfolio of commercial fleet customers and vehicles under contract.
- Leads a team of 5 Regional Managers and c.300 colleagues across 40+ depots, with full divisional P&L accountability.
- Own significant revenue accountability within a £180m organisation, with payroll and non-payroll budget accountability.
- Reports to the Service Delivery Director, CFS, and joins the business at a genuinely exciting point- CFS is twice the size of its nearest competitor, with a clear plan to expand geographic coverage and service proposition.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver the CFS divisional strategy, driving profitable growth, operational efficiency and service excellence across depot and mobile operations.
- Develop, coach, and inspire Regional Managers, building strong leadership capability, succession pipelines, and a high-performance culture.
- Own full divisional P&L accountability, delivering sustainable revenue growth, margin improvement, and cost control.
- Drive operational excellence across depot and mobile technician teams, ensuring consistent, high-quality, and reliable service delivery.
- Embed best-in-class health & safety practices, particularly within field-based operations, ensuring full compliance and a proactive safety culture.
- Maintain tight control of costs across labour, fleet operations, stock, and overheads, ensuring robust stock governance and minimisation of loss and working capital exposure.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key commercial fleet customers, partnering with commercial colleagues on onboarding, account growth and manufacturer-led service reviews.
- Simplify and standardise operational processes to improve efficiency, scalability and service quality as the business grows.
About You
- Extensive leadership experience across large, geographically dispersed teams.
- A strong track record of P&L ownership, budget management and financial planning.
- Genuine ability to lead, engage and motivate teams through a fast-changing environment.
- Sound knowledge of industry trends and market conditions, with the ability to adapt and flex accordingly.
- A hands-on, commercially minded operator who is equally comfortable in a depot as in a senior leadership meeting.
