The Half Moon is a beautifully restored Grade II-listed pub and hotel, set in the heart of Herne Hill next to Brockwell Park with excellent transport links into central London.

Combining classic character with modern sophistication, it’s loved by locals and visitors alike for its quality food, warm hospitality and stylish surroundings.

The business has a strong food offer, with seasonal menus, outside kitchen, outstanding Sunday roasts, alongside a premium drinks range and 12 individually designed boutique bedrooms.

Outdoor space and events play a key role in driving trade, particularly during warmer months and key dates in the local calendar.

We’re looking for an experienced General Manager with a strong background in high volume food and drink, who understands how to deliver a premium guest experience whilst driving commercial performance.

Applicants should be passionate about food, highly customer focused, and confident leading from the front.

You’ll be comfortable developing a large team, embedding a customer-first mindset, and maximising opportunities through events, local marketing and community engagement.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take the reins of a much-loved, high-profile business with strong foundations and real potential to grow further, continuing the success journey of The Half Moon and taking it firmly to the next level.

This is a live in site with a spacious one bedroom flat above the pub.
