This is a full-time Solicitor role based in the Birmingham Area, United Kingdom, with an office and court-based working arrangement that allows some work from home. The Solicitor will manage a varied caseload, provide legal advice, draft and review documents, and represent clients in the police station and court hearings. Daily responsibilities include meeting with clients, taking instructions, conducting legal research, preparing correspondence and maintaining accurate file records in line with regulatory requirements. The role also involves collaborating with colleagues across practice areas, contributing to business development activities, and ensuring that all work complies with professional and ethical standards.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Criminal Law, with the ability to interpret legislation, case law, and regulatory guidance accurately.
- Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales (or equivalent) with a valid practising certificate.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and time management.
