  • Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 5:00pm/7:30 – 16:00
  • Saturday: 1 in 4 on a rota

Halesowen Motor House is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Level 3 Qualified Vehicle Technician to join our busy and growing aftersales team.

You'll be joining a friendly, professional team committed to delivering first-class workmanship and outstanding customer service.

The Role

As a Qualified Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out vehicle servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs to the highest manufacturer standards while maintaining efficiency and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on Hyundai vehicles.
  • Diagnose vehicle faults using manufacturer diagnostic equipment.
  • Complete MOT preparation work (MOT Tester qualification desirable but not essential).
  • Carry out warranty repairs in accordance with brand procedures.
  • Complete Vehicle Health Checks (VHCs) and identify additional work where required.
  • Record all work accurately using the dealership management system.
  • Ensure all repairs are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
  • Work collaboratively with Service Advisors and the Parts Department to ensure excellent customer satisfaction.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
  • Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician within a franchised dealership or independent garage.
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Experience using Keyloop/Autoline.
