The College is seeking to appoint a passionate and enthusiastic Supported Employment Coordinator to work with our job coaches, to support students to secure employment. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, with a thorough understanding of the social model of disability and high expectations of people with learning disabilities.
You will need excellent problem solving, communication and negotiation skills. In this role, you will work directly with young people with learning and physical disabilities to provide personalized support, training, and resources, guiding them towards fulfilling positive employment outcomes.
You will collaborate with employers, external agencies, community organizations, and family support networks to create tailored programs that foster inclusivity and success in the workplace.
The College is committed to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults and will undertake Enhanced DBS and safer recruitment checks for all successful candidates.
