Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Halesowen College for a Lecturer in Physics. In this role, you will work towards and deliver effective learning, teaching and assessments that provides a high-quality experience to enthusiastic students who are passionate about the subject. You have the potential to deliver exciting Physics based topics such as Atomic Structure and Radioactivity, Thermodynamics and student led Physics projects across our vocational Science programmes. Working within teams and delivering programmes of study within various curriculum areas, while ensuring that knowledge, skills, and behaviours of learners enables them to be ready for employment or higher-level studies. An enthusiasm for the subject and a drive to encourage students to progress within science or a related discipline is essential.
Safeguarding and Professional Development
The College is committed to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults and will undertake an Enhanced DBS, safer recruitment vetting and online checks for all successful candidates. Successful candidates will get the opportunity to attain a professional teaching qualification as part of the role. This will include continuous professional development.
