We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Art & Design Technician to play a key role in leading and supporting our busy creative technical team. You’ll help coordinate day-to-day technical operations across the department, support and develop technicians and work experience students, oversee workloads and resources, and ensure our studios, workshops and creative spaces run smoothly, safely and efficiently.
Alongside managing and supporting the team, you’ll work across a wide range of exciting specialist areas including ceramics, glass, printmaking, textiles, photography, painting and digital media. From preparing materials and setting up workshops to maintaining specialist equipment, supporting exhibitions and giving technical guidance to staff and students, this is a varied, hands-on role at the heart of a vibrant Art & Design department.
The College is committed to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults and will undertake an Enhanced DBS, safer recruitment vetting and online checks for all successful candidates.
