Progress Coach – A Levels (FTE 0.6)
Halesowen College wishes to appoint an enthusiastic and supportive person to support student mentoring, monitoring and intervention as part of a team of Progress Coaches. The role involves supporting students' induction, performance, progress and progression, liaising with the A‑level team to design and deliver a tutorial programme.
The appointed person will manage a caseload of students, working with them in tutorial groups and on a one‑to‑one basis. Daily activities include tracking and monitoring student attendance and supporting students with academic progress, wellbeing, setting high standards for behaviour and engagement. The role also requires support with enrichment, work experience, university/apprenticeship/job applications and preparing students for life post college.
Salary: £15,097.28 pa – £15,383.86 pa (term time only post).
