An exciting opportunity has arisen at Halesowen College for a Lecturer in Textiles. In this role, you will work towards and deliver effective learning, teaching and assessments that provide a high-quality experience to enthusiastic students who are passionate about the subject.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and reflective, qualified teacher of A level Textiles to add to a dynamic A level faculty. The successful candidate will have access to a range of high-quality resources and be expected to contribute to an experienced team of well qualified and dedicated staff within the Expressive Arts Division.
They will be conversant with a range of methods and techniques, which are essential to the students’ educational and industry related development. A proven track record in student achievement would be expected, and a sound understanding of assessment and moderation processes is essential. Working across other Art and Design disciplines would be advantageous.
In addition to Textiles, opportunities to deliver on other programmes may be possible. In certain circumstances and dependent upon your skills and experience within the delivery of other subjects, the position could be extended to a larger fraction.
