An exciting opportunity has arisen at Halesowen College for a Lead Lecturer in Law. In this role, you will work towards and deliver effective learning, teaching and assessments that provide a high-quality experience to enthusiastic students who are passionate about the subject.
The successful candidate will be expected to lead on the A Level Law provision and contribute to the delivery of BTEC Applied Law level 3 Certificate/Extended Certificate. In addition to Law, opportunities to deliver on other programmes within A Levels and across the college may be possible.
You are expected to be a student-centred teacher with a good level of organisation, excellent classroom management skills and a strong academic background in Law. You will be responsible for the delivery of the course and would ideally be able to demonstrate previous high levels of student achievement at level 3.
You will have a keen interest in, and awareness of contemporary issues, and be able to engage students in the application of these ideas within the Law curriculum. Your enthusiasm should extend to extra-curricular activities such as organising/taking part in visits and encouraging a wider enrichment experience for your students.

Successful candidates will get the opportunity to attain a professional teaching qualification as part of the role. This will include continuous professional development.
