Do you have a passion for supporting young people to reach their full potential? In this role you will be promoting positive attendance and behaviour at Halesowen College. As a dedicated Engagement and Support Officer you will join our committed and student-focused team.
In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for:
- Monitoring and analysing student attendance and behaviour data
- Supporting those at risk of disengagement
- Working closely with staff, parents/guardians, and on occasions external agencies to ensure students receive the support they need to succeed
An understanding of mental health and safeguarding would be beneficial along with experience of working with young people in education, youth work, or social care setting. You will be a confident communicator, able to engage with students, families, and professionals, and have strong organisational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Term time only position. The term time only salary for this post is: £22,862 pa - £23,910 pa.
