The predicted salary is between 12 - 16 £ per hour.

Previous care or customer service experience is preferred but not essential. Flexibility to cover holiday and sickness absence on the Monday–Friday evening shift (5:00pm–10:15pm) would be an advantage. We are recruiting for an Out of Hours Coordinator to join our Emergency Duty Team based in Leeds. Unfortunately, we are currently unable to accept applications from individuals requiring Out of Country sponsorship.

The role involves answering emergency telephone calls from service users, their family members, Care Managers, and our Care Workers, supporting them with their queries. This is an office-based role with a smart-casual dress code. Other duties include:

  • Ensuring all calls, incidents, and sickness are documented and reported/escalated if required.
  • Logging all incoming calls and documenting actions taken.
  • Assigning care to care workers on our electronic care planning system.
  • Adding medication to the service users' electronic MAR charts and ensuring changes to their planned care are updated in real time on the electronic care planning system.
  • Dealing with out-of-hours GP, ambulances, local authorities, and safeguarding when required.
