Hales Home Care is looking for 2x Part-Time Home Care Assistants / Care Workers / Carers in Bentham, Settle and Ingleton. The ideal candidates will:

  • Ideally drive but are open to applicants who do not have their own transport but are willing to travel to the areas listed
  • Be available to work weekends
  • Be able to cover absences when needed
  • Shifts typically look like, but are not limited to: 1000-1600, 1100-1500, 1000-1500

THE CARE ASSISTANT ROLE

As a Hales Care Worker in Bentham, you\’ll play a vital role in supporting the health, well-being, and independence of vulnerable individuals within the comfort of their own homes. Your responsibilities include:

  • Supporting individuals with their personal care routines including washing, dressing, and attending to toileting needs
  • Ensuring service users have adequate grocery supplies
  • Assisting individuals in taking their medication
  • Preparing warm and nourishing meals
  • Helping with light domestic tasks and other care needs
  • Providing a valuable companionship lifeline to individuals

The Ideal Hales Care Assistant

  • Passionate about helping others.
  • A team player with good communication skills.
  • Honest and committed to delivery high quality care and support.
  • Good communication skills – verbal and written to complete accurate records.
  • Previous experience in care, retail, hospitality or other service industry is welcome but not essential.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred.
