Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour + mileage at £0.30 per mile & travel time at £12.71 per hour

Shifts: 7am - 3pm, 3pm - 11pm

Areas Covered: Washington, SR1, SR2, NE9 7, NE36 0, NE37 1, NE37 2, NE37 3, NE38 7, NE38 8, NE38 9, NE38 0, DH4 7, and DH3 1

No experience necessary – paid training and induction to ensure you feel confident in your role. A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is ideal but not essential.

Your Role as a Home Care Assistant

As a Home Care Assistant, you’ll support individuals in Sunderland to live independently in the comfort of their own homes. Every visit is an opportunity to make someone’s day brighter and yours more fulfilling.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with personal care routines (washing, dressing, toileting)
  • Supporting medication and meal preparation
  • Helping with light domestic tasks and grocery needs
  • Providing companionship and emotional support

  • Passionate about helping others and committed to delivering high-quality care and support
  • A reliable and honest team player with a positive attitude
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • No experience necessary, we have had people join from hospitality, retail, and customer service backgrounds
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills
