Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and dedicated SEND Lead Teacher to lead and manage provision for pupils with moderate to complex learning needs across Key Stages 1 and 2 within the SEN Unit at Woodside Primary School. The position is full‑time, permanent, and on the Teachers' Main Pay Scale/UPS with TLR2A (£3,527 FTE per annum) and a SEN1 allowance (£2,787 per annum). The successful candidate will deliver and coordinate high‑quality teaching, learning, assessment, and pastoral support tailored to individual pupil needs. Working closely with the Assistant Head of Inclusion, the role involves developing strategies and interventions, and liaising with local authorities, parents, and external agencies to ensure pupils receive the highest level of support.
