Join our team at Hales Homecare Scunthorpe! We specialise in providing exceptional homecare services to individuals in the community with complex health needs. We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Complex Care Assistants to help us continue delivering high-quality, nurse-led care.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing Complex Medical Needs: Providing specialised care for individuals with complex needs such as tracheostomies, ventilators, PEG Feeding, and other complex medical needs.
- Providing Personal Care: Assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, always maintaining dignity and respect.
- Administering Medication: Safely and accurately administering medication, following prescribed protocols and maintaining detailed records.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Observing and documenting changes in service users’ conditions and communicating any concerns to the clinical team.
- Emotional Support: Building strong relationships with service users and their families, providing emotional support.
- Promoting Independence: Encouraging service users to participate in activities and decision-making.
The ideal Complex Care Assistant has proven care experience and is passionate about helping others and committed to delivering high-quality care and support. You’ll be a reliable and honest team player with strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to ensure accurate record-keeping.
