Location: Rural outskirts of Framlingham

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm (1hr unpaid lunch)

Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent

Salary: £12.56 per hour

We’re currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a well-established and forward-thinking engineering company. This is a great opportunity for someone with production or factory experience who enjoys working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.

Job Purpose: As a Warehouse Operator, you’ll support day-to-day warehouse operations including stock handling for production lines, goods receiving, packing, wrapping, and distribution. You’ll work within a multi-functional team to ensure smooth supply chain processes and maintain safe working practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload trailers and vehicles
  • Operate across warehouse and yard functions
  • Perform wrapping and strapping tasks
  • Manual handling and heavy lifting
  • Feed fast-moving production lines efficiently
  • Operate manual handling equipment

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in a production, manufacturing or factory environment (essential)
  • Counterbalance or Reach forklift licence (essential)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Self-motivated, with a positive attitude and good initiative
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good level of Maths and English
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (due to rural location)
  • Knowledge of the wire, cable or signal industry (desirable)
