About the Role
We are recruiting for an experienced and dependable Counterbalance Forklift Driver (PM Shift) to join a leading manufacturing facility in Thetford, specialising in the production and distribution of high-quality cleaning products. This hands-on position is ideal for someone confident operating a counterbalance forklift, supporting efficient production flow, and maintaining safe and accurate handling of goods. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering weekly pay, full training, and long-term career potential within a supportive and modern working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a counterbalance forklift to move raw materials, finished goods, and packaging
- Load and unload vehicles, ensuring safe stacking and storage of products
- Supply production lines with required materials in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate stock movement and documentation
- Carry out basic equipment checks and report faults promptly
- Support packing and palletising when required
- Adhere to all health and safety and site operating procedures
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet production and dispatch targets
Requirements
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (RTITB or ITSSAR accredited) - essential
- Previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift in a warehouse or production environment
- Confident with stock handling, loading, and pallet management
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work evening shifts
- Team player with good communication skills and a positive attitude
